A Warm Welcome
(Are you a teacher who struggles with students who have lost their love of reading? Are video games replacing the novel study? Are you looking for a fun, interactive way to bring writing to life in your classroom? Then contact me at authordonnadawson@hotmail.com and I would love to come and share the craft of writing with your students. I offer an interactive forty five minute session where the students work as a team to build two characters, a setting and a basic conflict and resolution. I share a brief excerpt of my books in a reading and by doing so show the children that reading is fun. Teachers are delighted that students who formerly had no interest in writing are beginning to write. Once the session is finished, a bookmark is handed out to each student as a small gift. In this way, it is my hope to bring joy back into reading and thereby promote literacy in Canada.)

For example; Lucid Musings is a site put together by the phenomenal photographer responsible for my bio photo. The National Tractor Parts Dealers Association is an organization filled with information that I have used in some of my books. Michael Libby of Insight Cubed has given me dozens of excellent marketing tips. As strange as each sight may seem in the picture of writing, they all have their place in the ministry God has given me and so I ask that you check each one out.
